Hello, I'm Alex (Solo Developer)
GET YOKED is my personal project that mixes roguelike deck-building mechanics with real-world fitness principles. My goal is to gamify workout knowledge and share it through a web-based experience built with pure HTML5 and WebGL.
As an indie developer passionate about both gaming and fitness, I wanted to create something unique that combines strategic card gameplay with the world of bodybuilding. Every card, mechanic, and progression system is designed to reflect real workout principles while providing an engaging gaming experience.
The game sits somewhere between Balatro and Slay the Spire in terms of gameplay feel, but with a completely unique theme that celebrates the dedication and strategy required in bodybuilding.
